Scott Parsons creates custom stained glass for churches, chapels, and public spaces—working at the intersection of architecture, light, and meaning. His work is developed in collaboration with architects, liturgical consultants, and communities, shaping spaces for worship and gathering through the movement of light and color within the building.
Each project is conceived in response to its architectural setting and the life of the community it serves. Developed through a process rooted in watercolor studies, the work considers light, scale, and liturgical function from the outset and is realized as large-scale architectural glass integrated into the design of the space. The work is shaped by color, structure, time, and spirit.

Practices
Light and Architecture
Work developed in close relationship with architecture, where light is gathered, diffused, and released across the space. It shapes the experience of the building over time, becoming part of its rhythms of use and worship.
Theology and Image
Work grounded in the theological and symbolic traditions of the church, drawing from scripture and the worship space, shaping atmosphere, telling sacred stories, and elevating the experience of the liturgy.
Process and Material
Work rooted in watercolor painting, where transparency, layering, and gesture guide the development of form. It is carried into the glass through layered material, creating depth and a shifting presence of color over time.
